APROVACA is a small grassroots non-profit, which means that it is dependent on external help and support to a certain extent for its survival. Indeed, APROVACA has been supported from its inception by many organizations and individuals who share its cause. You can help APROVACA in a number of ways; of course, making a donation and volunteering with us are two of the most direct and effective ways to do so. Donations financially help us sustain our orchid conservation projects, whereas skilled volunteers can join our team to take care of our orchids, maintain and expand our gardens, update and improve our website, promote our orchid center and help run the association itself.
However, there are also ways to contribute to the conservation of endangered Panamanian orchids for those who do not have enough resources or time. If you happen to live in Panama or nearby, you have the chance to visit our orchid center. Not only will you be able to understand first-hand orchids of Panama and our efforts to protect them, you can thus become an orchid sponsor or purchase our Phalaenopsis, medicinal plants and original items.
